What It Does

SPHERE gives every user their own cryptographic identity, enables secure messaging, and supports content publishing through a distributed hash table (DHT). Sites, profiles, and aliases are mapped without DNS, and everything is end-to-end encrypted by default.

Core Features

Decentralized Identity: No accounts or passwords. Authentication is handled via encrypted, fragmented key structures.
Alias & Content Resolution: Human-readable aliases map to DHT-stored content and identities — no DNS needed.
Encrypted Messaging: Communicate securely between users using ECC and symmetric hybrid encryption.
Peer-to-Peer Hosting: Host static websites and content directly across nodes, tamper-resistant and censorship-proof.
